Short background and lineage on Steve Vosa:
Began study of Uechi-Ryu in 1971 under Senseis George Mattson & Bob Campbell at the Hancock St. Dojo in Boston, MA.
1976 - Shodan Test, Providence, RI - NAUKA Tested
1988 - Nidan Test, San Diego, CA - NAC Tested
1994 - Sandan Test, Summer Camp. MA - IUKF Tested
2002 - Yondan Test, George Mattson Seminar, CO - IUKF Tested
2005 - Shihan Award presented by George Mattson for 32 years of teaching & 44 years a student
2015 - Godan Test, George Mattson Seminar, NM - IUKF Tested
Steve has a Dojo in Albuquerque, NM, that he has been operating for many years.
Over the years Steve has trained, he has attended many classes around the world and the country. Here is a short list of Sensei's teaching the training classes he has attended.
